Caring for Animals & Helping the Community

At Ellen’s Clothing Alterations, Ellen’s heart goes far beyond clothing alterations. She has a deep love for animals, especially stray and homeless dogs and cats who need care, safety, and a second chance at life. Whenever she comes across animals in need, she does her best to help by working alongside the SPCA, supporting rescue efforts, and helping find loving homes for these precious animals.

Ellen also enjoys organising small fundraising efforts to collect food, blankets, and other essentials for stray animals. She believes that even the smallest act of kindness can make a big difference in an animal’s life. Many people in the community also contact her when a beloved pet goes missing, and she gladly helps by sharing posts on her Facebook page and connecting people in the hope of reuniting families with their pets.

Helping others is something very close to Ellen’s heart — whether it’s caring for animals, helping the poor and needy, or simply supporting people wherever she can. She loves being part of a caring community where people help one another and show compassion to those who need it most.
